Saved after it happened

HasteClip keeps the last few minutes of your game ready. Made a play? Press the shortcut, or say “HasteClip that”, and it’s a clip. Nothing is written to your drive until you do.

  • Named after the play: “Ace on Ancient”, “412pp FC”
  • Saving takes a moment, and the game never stutters

Trim in seconds, not minutes

Drag the ends, check the moment, save. Only the frames around each cut are re-encoded, so a trim saves almost instantly and looks exactly like the original.

  • Scrubbing that keeps up with your hand, frame by frame
  • Each sound on its own track: turn your mic down after the fact
  • Your original recording is kept until you say otherwise

Drag it into the chat

Clips are real files. Drag one, or ten, straight out of the library into Discord, a message or a folder. Or copy it and paste it anywhere.

  • No upload, no link to wait for
  • Several clips at once

Magic is typing…

Tidy in a few keystrokes

Rename, delete or open the editor with a key, and the next clip is right there. Drag clips onto a game or a collection to sort them.

  • Clips grouped by game, automatically
  • Collections for the ones worth keeping

Every sound where you want it

Your microphone, the game, Discord, music: each one is a source with its own meter and fader. Put it in the clip, give it its own track for editing later, or both.

  • Per-app audio, so Spotify stays out of your clips
  • Noise removal for your microphone

Everything else you’d expect, and nothing you wouldn’t.

No account, no watermark
It’s free. Your clips stay on your computer.
Native, not a web app
Written in Rust and drawn on the graphics card, with no browser running behind your game. Your graphics card encodes the video, at full resolution up to 240 fps.
Game capture
Fullscreen games that other recorders show as a frozen picture, recorded properly on Windows.
Share anywhere
Copy a clip and paste it into Discord, or drag it straight out of the library.
Frame blending
Smooth, cinematic motion: it captures many times faster than your clip’s frame rate and blends those pictures into each frame. On Windows and Mac.
Made for Mac, Windows and Linux
One app, the same on all three. Linux is still catching up on a few features.
